Job Description

● Effective communication and close collaboration with MOH, MOC, Bank and related organizations if needed. ● Coordinate all international commercial affairs such as corresponding, orders controlling with suppliers for payment, shipment/ delivery schedule, commercial registration procedure and transportation follow-up. ● Track necessary permissions by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Industry, mine and trade. ● Opening letter of credit and any other banking transactions. ● Plan and coordinate custom clearance procedures. ● Perform buying duties when necessary. ● Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests. ● Compare suppliers' bills with bids and purchase orders to verify accuracy. ● Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists. ● Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and goods meet specifications. ● Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers. ● Review requisition orders to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications. ● Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary. ● Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts. ● Maintain knowledge of all organizational and governmental rules affecting purchases, and provide information about these rules to organization staff members and to vendors. ● Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems. ● Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders. ● Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations. ● Locate suppliers, using sources such as catalogs and the internet, and interview them to gather information about products to be ordered. ● Execute International /Local commercial affairs such as order placement, PI collection, commercial registration, currency allocation, bank related tasks, shipment follow up, Shipping documents etc. ● Monitoring import process and carrying out all respective affairs such as insurance, inspection & consignment arrival. ● Handling warehouse receipt collection, endorsement, declaration, clearance Sheet, custom duties & GR. ● Updating reports’ table and ERP systems as per actions on spot. ● Preparing weekly reports.

Requirements

● At least 5 years’ experience in commercial field, preferably in pharmaceutical industry. ● Excellent fluency in English. ● Good communication and presentation skills. ● Self-organized, motivated with leadership skills. ● High level of social intelligence. ● Familiar with import order registration at ministry of commerce and ministry of health, custom clearance duties and manage clearance operations. ● Having good problem-solving skills. ● BA or MA in Commerce, Business or MBA. ● Fully acquainted with INCOTERMS and import regulations. ● Fully acquainted with commercial and International business terms and regulations Team work skills. ● Familiar with computer and good command of Microsoft Office.
