Job Description

-Communicate with suppliers and customers to provide status all quotes/purchase orders written by each individual buyer. -Support the Strategic Buyer in the evaluation and purchase of goods and services at a competitive cost. Receive and review requisitions from approved suppliers. -Negotiate pricing and rebate agreements with major vendors/contractors. -Compare and evaluate market for new, potential contractors/vendors. -Coordinates all activities involved with procuring products, supplies and services such as raw materials, equipment, tools, maintenance and safety items. -Communicate regularly with Product Managers, vendors and Engineering Manager. -Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers. -Negotiate and analyzing supplier pricing. -Purchase quality materials, equipment, and services from established suppliers. -Prepare, analyze and negotiate quotes with suppliers for efficient delivery of products and services to projects. -Review and approve requisitions and create purchase orders and send them to chosen Mechanic and Electronic vendors. -Prepare and maintain purchasing reports, records, and updated unit cost and retail price lists. -Interact with suppliers usually develop and nurture mutually beneficial relationships.

Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) and Marketing required. -Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position. -Experience in marketing and purchasing project in engineering and technical division of non ferrous mines and metals industry is advantage. - Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Extraordinary negotiation skills - Fluent in English
