Job Description
The core responsibilities of group CFO would be as below:
• Controller ship duties: CFO is responsible for presenting and reporting accurate and timely historical financial information of the group. Of course this requires supervising the accuracy of daughter companies' financial reports.
• Treasury duties: CFO is responsible for the group's financial condition, so CFO must suggest to the Board of how to manage the group money between daughter companies, taking into consideration risk and liquidity. In addition, the CFO oversees the capital structure of the company, determining the best mix of debt, equity and internal financing.
• Financial planning duties: CFO is responsible for preparing the budget of daughter companies and later controlling the implementation of the budget.
• Economic strategy and forecasting: He or she is also an integral part of the group's financial future. CFO must identify and report which areas of the group are most efficient and how the company can capitalize on this information. This also includes economic forecasting and modeling.
• Tax reporting duties: Supervising preparation and summation of group and daughter companies tax reports.
