Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Chief Content Officer, possessing the ability to think both creatively and analytically. You will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining content to achieve our business goals. Your duties will also include sharing content to raise brand awareness and monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify best practices As a CCO, you should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented. If you are also an expert in content optimization and brand consistency, we would like to meet you Ultimately, you should be able to oversee all marketing content initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency and a positive customer experience Responsibilities: -Oversee all marketing content initiatives, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats to drive sales, engagement, retention and positive customer behavior -Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets -Strategic planning and creation of digital content as well as updating content in a content management system (CMS) -Look for creative ways of building Company’s online presence, as well as using analytics in the formulation of the content strategy -Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout -Manage the content team; edit, proofread and improve writers’ posts -Take full ownership of assigned content production across all sites, check blog posts before publication -Liaise with content writers to ensure brand consistency -Brainstorm with team members to develop new ideas -Provide editorial, creative and technical support to team members -Track web analytics to ascertain content engagement levels; optimize content according to SEO -Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and users engagement metrics -Manage content across all platforms and its distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic -Develop an editorial calendar and ensure content team is on board -Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection) -Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention Salary: $ 4.000 - $ 6.000 Location: Istanbul / Other Offices

Requirements

-MSc degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or relevant field -Proven work experience as a Content manager -Adept at keyword placement and SEO best practices -Highly computer literate and advanced knowledge of HTML and web publishing -Proficiency with popular content management systems -Experience with social media management -Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English -A keen eye for details and ability to work to a brand narrative -Strong leadership qualities -Good organizational and time-management skills -Creativity and organizational skills
