Job Description

• Continuously monitor new investment opportunities in exploration and production (E&P).
• Ongoing oversight of current commercial projects to identify value-creation opportunities in collaboration with project managers.
• Maintain awareness of competitor status as well as potential partners in the market.
• Form and manage the team responsible for evaluating investment opportunities.
• Conduct technical, financial, economic, and legal evaluations of identified opportunities, including associated risk analyses at different decision-making stages.
• Prepare opportunity-shaping reports.
• Develop field development plans, technical and economic reports, and proposals.
• Present findings to senior management for decision-making.
• Submit approved reports to the relevant client and conduct necessary negotiations to finalize commercial decisions under the supervision of senior business management.
• Data-driven decision-making: Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making for business development initiatives based on market research.

Requirements:
• Work Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, including at least 5 years in exploration and production (E&P).
• Education: Master’s or PhD in Petroleum Engineering.
• English Proficiency: Above intermediate level.

Qualifications:
• Proficiency in technical, contractual, and economic negotiations.
• Expertise in risk analysis and optimization of investment opportunities at various levels.
• Strong ability and skills to make decisions and present them to senior management.
• Ability to analyze upstream oil and gas contracts.
• In-depth knowledge of the exploration and production market, market share of industry players, and stakeholder relations in the upstream oil and gas sector.
• Expertise in marketing principles, market analysis, client negotiation, and participation in tenders.
