Job Description
Mission:
- To drive accelerated growth and market leadership in digital financial services by identifying and executing strategic partnerships, innovative product launches, and data-driven customer journeys.
- To ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance through cross-functional leadership, rigorous P&L management, and a robust merchant and stakeholder ecosystem.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- To research and lead the evaluation of emerging mobile financial services and marketplace - technologies to recommend high-potential solutions for pilot initiatives.
- To lead the analysis of market trends and competitor MFS offerings to ensure our digital products remain best-in-class and competitive.
- To support general manager in defining the MFS commercial strategy and high-level roadmap to align initiatives with division goals and secure stakeholder buy-in.
- To lead the development of detailed business cases and presenting it for onboarding new merchants and payment gateways to achieve strategic partnerships.
- To liaise with ITS, product, and legal teams to deliver the technical and contractual framework for new services to guarantee on-time, compliant launches.
- To monitor project implementation metrics, SLAs, and key performance indicators to identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation actions before they impact delivery.
- To collaborate with data science, customer value management, and UX teams to generate actionable insights that optimize customer journeys and increase transaction volumes.
- To liaise with supply chain and legal teams to expedite partner contract setup and ensure full compliance with national MFS regulations.
- To oversee monthly performance reports and change-initiative proposals, reporting to the Head of Division to drive informed decisions and continuous business improvement.
- To foster strong cross-functional relationships and governance with commercial, marketing, BI, finance, and operations to streamline platform performance, upgrades, and reporting workflows.
- To manage the Buy Now Pay Later - BNPL service and all the business deals tasks related to the service.
- To manage the integration of online micropayment merchants with our digital wallet and make the related business deals.
- To build and maintain partnerships in BNPL service with BNPL players.
- To build and maintain partnerships in Wealth tech services with fintech players.
- To monitor the fintech market and hunt the partnership opportunities.
- To manage the fintech application and provide the requirements to the product team for development.
- To develop a short-term, mid-term, and long-term business roadmap and guide the team in that direction to ensure the company’s objectives are met.
Requirements:
Education:
- B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Management, and related fields.
- An MBA degree is advantageous.
Experience:
- Managerial track record of 5 years or more, with at least 3 years in financial services.
- Working across diverse cultures and geographies is advantageous.
