Job Description
We want to expand our office in Tehran in order to intensify our business activities and provide localised services to our customers and partners. Therefore we are looking for experienced business development and sales engineers who are interested to help grow our business in Iran in a highly motivated team. Principal responsibilities • Identification/initiation and development of project opportunities in the area of oil and gas mid- and downstream industry as well as in the petrochemical industry in Iran. • Continuous and pro-active engagement with relevant partners and customers at all Levels. • Evaluation of customers business cases and decision making criteria. • Close co-ordination of business development activities with respective technology departments of Linde Engineering head quarter in Munich. • Evaluation and prioritisation of viable opportunities in close co-ordination with the respective technology departments. • Follow up of projects from identification until contract signing. • Provision of support to the respective technology departments for proposal preparation. • Development of customer/partner engagement plans.
Requirements
Required key skills (functional / technical) and qualifications/experience • Advanced process / mechanical / industrial Engineering degree (MBA preference). • Min 10 years' experience in an engineering position (preferably process/chemical engineering) respectively in a project management, strategic planning or business development/sales position with an engineering company or oil, gas or petrochemical production company. • Understanding of the Iranian oil, gas and petrochemical industry. • Experience in business development and/or sales preferred. • Understanding of customers project development and implementation methodologies. • Basic understanding of process technologies, project execution and contracting principles. • Strong communication skills. • Ability to establish and maintain close relationship to partners and customers. • Strong team player in a highly matrixed Environment. • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. • Flexibility and willingness to travel within Iran.
