Job Description

Mission:

To coordinate with different teams to perform business development for assigned projects within Digital using agile methodology and the potential of the startup ecosystem.
To arrange and participate in startup events and establish strong connections with startups through different channels to find high-potential startups based on Digital Division’s PPPs.

Responsibilities:

To monitor and study industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics continuously and provide strategic insights to the manager for informed decision-making.
To identify and source potential investment opportunities by networking, attending industry events, reviewing business plans, and leveraging market intelligence.
To maintain up-to-date knowledge, Track market leads and potentials in the startup ecosystem, and update the list of active businesses.
To communicate with startups and follow up to obtain documents and data (including proposals, presentations, etc.) and conduct initial appraisals
To follow up on startup teams to prepare proper reports during the investment process.
To provide a synergy plan, modeling cooperation framework, and present candidate startup’s potentials and opportunities at internal or external meetings
To conduct due diligence and analysis reports for startups and archive all documents in different steps.
To control and develop startup acquisition channels, including website.
To document all learned lessons and gained insights during the investment process.
To prepare regular reports on deal flow, investment activities, and portfolio performance. Analyze investment outcomes and provide recommendations for optimization.
To develop and implement the process of creating key performance indicators (KPIs) for selected startups within the portfolio, continuously monitor and analyze these KPIs to assess the progress, growth, and performance of each startup, and provide actionable insights to optimize their business strategies.
