Job Description

Role Purpose: To assist the marketing manager in managing different categories at the 4ps level (positioning, pricing, product, and promotions) and contributing to the translation of the campaigns and plans into reality. In addition, he/she will be spearheading managing the relationship/work with the Marketing/Advertising Agencies. His/her role mainly involves strategizing, planning, executing, and evaluating marketing campaigns. Key Accountabilities: • Benchmark products vs. competition for each category. • Define the product strategy and road map, and the execution processes. • Manage product development internally (inter-departments) and externally (ad agencies, graphic designers, etc.) – act as the expert of the brand. • Develop and execute the yearly marketing plan, meeting the long-term objectives of the company • Collect and analyze sales and distribution data from the market and compare them to annual budget requirements • Prepare brand health studies on a yearly basis to evaluate brand awareness and image. • Recommend and implement annual products objectives, advertising and promotional objectives and conduct market audits. Visit the market, to interact as necessary with customers, to assist the sales organization, and to conduct training as well as to keep current with market trends, and to help marketing manager achieve department’s strategy. • Review advertising campaigns objectives and actual deliveries compared to plan. • Evaluate how changes in product positioning will impact sales, volumes, expenses, and profitability. • Work with advertising agencies to create and execute communication plans that support the equity goals of the business in line with budgetary limits. Direct the development, implementation and monitoring of the marketing support programs to assure attainment of sales, margin, and market share. • Implement public relation activities coordinated with management • Check team adherence to systems and policies and upgrade where needed • Maintain a high level of motivation environment within the team – act as a role model • Supervise market intelligence and translate data into information toward product and market development in coordination with management. • Track products’ budgeted expenses and ensure successful achievement • Initiating new product developments, managing the development, & launching to market • Submit weekly reports reflecting competitive activities with recommendation toward product/market enhancement in coordination with management. • Submit monthly reports on the development of all products performance

Requirements

• B.A. Degree in Marketing or any equivalent certification. • 5-6 years work experience in category management • Strong interpersonal skills • Strong communication skills • Strong Analytical skills • Achievement Orientation • Strong Sense of Team work • Good Managerial and Follow up Skills • Strong Customer Focus • Self-motivated
