Job Description

- Lead in the design, development and installation of new and retrofit control systems using GE PLC Controllers and I / O systems - Assist in the design, development and installation of SCADA and HMI systems using GE Software - Conduct studies / research to determine hardware and software requirements for projects Design, develop, document PLC, HMI and SCADA program code - Analyze engineering and financial requirements of proposed projects and support ITO with development of proposals - Serve as consultant to both customers and GE management regarding best practice resolutions of complex problems - Proactively develop and implement measures to improve operations and customer satisfaction - Promote GE controls solutions in front of customers during commercial presentations and other events as needed - Liaise with GE support associated with hardware and software engineering - Provide formal / informal customer training that may be conducted at a GE facility / at customer sites as needed
