Job Description

Application Engineer / Flow Control (Control Valves and/or Manual and On/Off Valves) Pre-Sales Activities: - Managing and interpreting customer requirements - Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs - Coordinating sales activities with special focus on technical and quality aspects with due attention to relationship management - Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs - Supporting marketing by attending meetings, trade shows, conferences and other marketing events - Providing pre-sales technical assistance/managing technical clarifications in connection with main manufacturer/principal - Responding customers’ referrals for project and technical issues - Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships in pre-sales technical evaluation phase and in the course of the project Post-Sales Activities: - Coordinating and facilitating delivery of project objectives - Tracking progress and coordinating projects’ tasks including technical, inspection and test, engineering and documentation - Monitoring and expediting all project’s related issues and following accelerant policies and practices - Conducting regular status meetings with all stakeholders, keeping the stakeholder’s needs and requirements continuously in view - Maintaining timelines and target dates - Ensuring project’s delivery to cost, quality and time
