About the Role:
We seek an experienced Agile project delivery manager to lead cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment, with a preference for candidates working in or closely aligned with the Iran Time Zone (IRST/IRDT). The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience managing software development projects in Agile environments, is proficient in Jira (including creating reports and dashboards), and can effectively collaborate with both front-end and back-end development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead both front-end and back-end teams to deliver high-quality software projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
- Facilitate key Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews, ensuring full participation across teams.
- Manage the entire project lifecycle, from planning to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders to define requirements, set priorities, and track progress.
- Utilize Jira for managing sprints, backlogs, and delivering detailed reports and dashboards for project tracking and stakeholder communication.
- Monitor Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, and sprint progress, and provide data-driven insights to drive team improvement.
- Identify and remove blockers to ensure smooth workflow across front-end and back-end teams.
- Foster a collaborative and continuous improvement-focused culture within the team.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Agile project delivery, ideally in software development or IT environments.
- Solid understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum and Kanban).
- Advanced Jira skills, including experience creating reports and dashboards.
- Experience managing and collaborating with both front-end and back-end development teams.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD processes, and technical challenges.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lead and manage teams in a remote, time zone-distributed environment, particularly within the Iran Time Zone (IRST/IRDT).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders across various functions in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agile certifications.
- Experience working with distributed teams in similar time zones.
- Technical background or experience in front-end or back-end development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
