Job Description
This individual reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to staff and assuming bookkeeping, reservation, and reception. These duties include but are not limited to: performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, scheduling meetings, office supply purchasing, typing, filing, reception and telephone duties. May also train and supervise lower-level clerical staff.
Requirements
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team. • Minimum five years clerical or administrative experience. • Typing skills with at least 50 WPM. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint) • Knowledge of general office machines and telephone system. • Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others. • High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information. • Ability and willingness to work some early mornings, evenings and weekend days.
