Job Description
Provide the overall administration, development, deployment and marketing of mobile value-added services Leadership and Management: - Manage the various accounts and sales with the existing and potential accounts e.g. telecom operators - Plan and execute new business opportunities and their deployment - Ensure efficient delivery of services including management of operator resources, service providers, talents and clients - Perform day-to-day account management activities like timely collection and disbursement of payments and management of operational escalations - Provide technical insights and recommendations on development and deployment of VAS - Develop service agreements and Terms of Reference for clients and service providers - Prepare periodic reports to managers Marketing and Sales: - Generate revenue from the customers at operator level and achieve targeted business growth numbers - Track competition for respective accounts - Up-sell services, replicate services of other operators/circles and adopt best practices in the industry - Identify and source content from various local potential providers - Develop service presentation portfolio and online media platforms for the company - Exercise due diligence and quality control in developing and distribution of both internal and external communications, sales and marketing products Building Partnerships: - Develop, maintain and expand relationships with network of clients, content providers and other key stakeholders in the country and the region - Manage and strengthen technical-commercial interactions with operators - Proactively liaise with various intra-department teams (sales, pre-sales team and other account teams) - Work closely with the engineering team, user design, operations and other functional teams
Requirements
Educational Background: - Bachelors Degree in IT, Digital Communications and Media, Business, Marketing or similar field Language Requirements: - Fluency in English. Required Experience: - Minimum of 2 years experience in telecommunications industry, specifically in developing and deployment of value-added services - Minimum of 3 years in managerial or supervisory role in similar working environment Desired Competencies: - Adapts personal style when interacting with people of different persuasions - Levels off agreements and understanding of clients and providers before advancing - Maintains confidentiality of information and ensures sensitive business operations are contained - Overcomes unexpected difficulties and challenges to produce desired outcomes - Regularly shares knowledge on industry best practice trends - Maintains collaborative relationships within the company - Works effectively with culturally-diverse team - Proactively follows through on team priorities in the absence of Managers - Consistently seeks and addresses feedback on own performance - Actively supports work improvement and/or organizational change by actions - Regularly updates plans to support the effective initiatives of the company - Considers current and future needs of the company in proposing and ideas and business solutions - Proactively recommends inputs to improve organizational policies, systems and processes
