● Lead, direct, and coach warehousing staff of the branch to ensure they are appropriately trained and well motivated to carry out their responsibilities to the required level.
● Ensure that products are stored in accordance with the relevant cooling temperature requirements.
● Ensure the rotation of all incoming and outgoing products, following the FIFO system.
● Work closely with the logistics coordinator, to ensure correct stock level (safety stock) according to monthly sales targets by product/SKU per day.
● Ensure and arrange correct levels of resources i.e. manpower and equipment as per the volume of work in the branch.
● Report the company’s assets, equipment, pallets, returns, and shipments in the branch.
● Report, review, and resolve all discrepancies in the warehouse (inventory management).
● Develop and verify that DC policies are enforced consistently on safety, housekeeping, and loss prevention in material handling.
Requirements
● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, or similar fields.
● At least 5 years of experience in warehousing including 2 years as a supervisor.
● Leadership, and communication skills.
● Analytical mind.
● Extensive experience in warehouse management.
