Job Description
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and oversee all warehouse operations.
- Manage and control inventory levels.
- Monitor product Shelf Life and Freshness within the warehouse.
- Implement and enforce Good Warehousing Practices (GWP) and proper storage standards.
- Lead warehouse teams, including warehouse operators, supervisors, and operational staff, while overseeing their performance, training, and development.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, inbound and outbound movements, discrepancies, damages, and operational waste, and analyze warehouse performance data.
- Coordinate with Distribution, Sales, Procurement, and Logistics departments to ensure smooth and efficient product flow across the country.
- Ensure warehouse compliance with HSE requirements, including safety regulations, fire protection standards, proper storage and stacking practices, and workplace hygiene.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through KPI monitoring and performance management, including OTIF, Stock Accuracy, Shelf Life, and other relevant operational indicators.
Requirements
- Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in warehouse management within the FMCG industry or similar sectors.
- Strong knowledge of automated warehousing systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and inventory/financial management software.
- Thorough understanding of Good Warehousing Practices (GWP), FIFO/FEFO principles, inventory control, and warehouse loss prevention.
- Strong analytical skills in warehouse data analysis, reporting, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) management.
- Proven ability to manage personnel, organize teams, provide training, and evaluate employee performance.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced and demanding operational environments.
- Good understanding of logistics principles, Supply Chain Management, and distribution processes.
