Job Description

  • Develop and execute Nexensu's video content strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall brand vision and marketing goals.
  • Identify third-party resources for a range of videos that span a spectrum from high production values to efficient short-form pieces to accompany blogs or social posts.
  • Conceptualize, script, and storyboard video ideas, ensuring they align with the brand identity and effectively communicate key messages.
  • Oversee the entire video production process, including pre-production, production, and post-production stages, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in video production and storytelling, bringing innovative ideas and techniques to enhance Nexensus video content.
  • Partner with marketing stakeholders, providing creative direction, feedback, and guidance throughout the production process.
  • Work closely with external agencies, freelancers, and vendors to source talent, locations, and equipment when needed.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual consistency across video content.
  • Conduct regular reviews and analysis of video performance metrics to optimize content and improve engagement.

Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • 8+ years of experience in developing video creative and content for technology brands and products
  • Proven experience as a video producer, creative lead, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful video campaigns (including 3D animated video).
  • Bachelor's degree in Film Production, or a related field. A combination of relevant education and experience will also be considered.
  • Proficiency in video production tools, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
  • Excellent storytelling and visual communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Maintain a deep network of production talent (DPs, Sound Mixers etc) location permitting and experience with SAG-Aftra contracting
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of video production processes, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Familiarity with video optimization techniques for various platforms and formats, including social media.
