The position:

As a Treasury Specialist in the Tehran Affiliate, you will be accountable for supporting competitive results in operating profit by facilitating the cash importation process, collections, securing money allocation, and closing open commitments for imports at Iranian Banks and customs. Your role will strongly involve performing cash flow management.
Moreover, your primary tasks will include:

  • Controlling and operating all banking transactions via daily controls on accounts and alignments with the finance dept.
  • • Funds receiving controls and exchanges regarding the cash flow operations.
  • Controlling the collection updates with the received credits in the accounts and adjusting to the daily and monthly cash flow reports.
  • Securing credit allocation for importing products in relation to the Iran Food and Drug Administration (IFDA) and Central Bank of Iran fund allocation process; paying out the currencies that are purchased through the bank, goods release alignments and documentation between the bank and customs, related commitment settlements and costs clearing.
  • Certifying process of shipping documents through the bank as well as clearing up progress with the customs and bank account settlements/reconciliations related to any importing progress.
  • Driving ad-hoc or whenever required meetings with the banks and logistics with the local team and IO treasury if needed and APAC and the finance manager, if needed to discuss the importing process and related payments’ challenges.

Requirements

  • University degree in any related field preferably in Finance.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a treasury specialist in the finance, and supply chain departments (working experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a big plus).
  • Extensive understanding of commercial and treasury, money allocation procedure in IRAN, and closing the commitment at customs and bank.
  • Great communication skills and ability to explain complex matters to a broad audience.
  • An upper Intermediate level of English (both written and oral) would be expected.
