Translate market category and brand objectives into country/channel category objectives in coordination with the sales teams while understanding and analyzing the integrated commercial planning process: situation analysis, creating winning channel activations and objectives, strategy, tactics, and activities.
Develop and implement national presence of trade marketing and merchandising programs with optimum use of resources (POS, POP) materials in order to achieve the highest in-store visibility.
Create and implement trade marketing and merchandising activities in line with company marketing strategies and sales approach.
Prepare market reports, and follow the competition as far as product launches, pricing, and trade promotions.
Define and help maintain the core range distribution and merchandizing guidelines by channel.
Analyze and recommend action plans, when needed, on numeric distribution, weighted distribution, core range, and planograms.
Ensure efficient implementation and evaluation of Point of Sales Material at the point of purchase based on a picture of success and merchandising guidelines in alignment with the sales team (quantities and timelines) and the effective utilization of Point of Sales Material according to trade plans.
Responsible to conduct market visits in the country across all channels focusing on Point of Purchase drivers, shelf life, and competitor activities. Based on shopper observation, recommend actionable in-store solutions within the trade channels.
Lead the Monthly Sales Review process at a country level and participate in the Monthly Distribution Planning Cycle meetings.
Ensure effective new product launches and/or line extensions on a country level through the implementation plan and organizing category roadshows/ presentations for the sales teams.
Analyze and provide recommendations/action plans for country reports (Market share, distribution, etc.) where applicable and analyze and action sell-out data.
Prepare a monthly report reviewing competition in trade, highlighting the key highlights and dynamics, and eventually turning gathered data into actionable insights.
Requirements
Advanced computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
Excellent communication skills.
Good influencing power and the ability to work in a cross-functional matrix.
Willing to frequent domestic travel.
Knowledge of trade marketing and merchandising concepts and best practices.
Understanding of consumer and shopper insights.
Dynamic and proactive person, with a can-do attitude.
Fluent in English.
Ideal age range: 25 to 35 years old.
At least years of experience in FMCG (preferably in home and personal care categories).
