Technical Team Lead

Job Description

*Role Overview:
As a Software Engineering Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to deliver scalable, maintainable, and efficient software solutions. You will work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to ensure that our software meets both technical and business goals.


*Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers in delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications.
• Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure coding best practices are followed.
• Monitor and improve team performance, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Contribute to hands-on development (design, coding, testing, etc.) when needed.
• Drive continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and practices.
• Facilitate team meetings, stand-ups, and retrospectives, and contribute to planning.
• Manage team workload, balancing priorities and ensuring team efficiency.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation within the team.

*Qualifications:
Experience: 10+ years of experience in software development /3+ years in a leadership or team lead role.

*Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding and experience with Microservices architecture, Event-driven design, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core, with a strong understanding of software design principles.
• Good knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch).
• Good knowledge of message broker software such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g., Requirements, Design, Development, Testing).
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills that deliver practical, business-oriented solutions.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

*Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansibble), DevOps practices, and related tools.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with one or more modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
