-Offer engineering support to all technical queries from different key accounts
-Professional technical communication to our suppliers and principal foreign partners whenever their technical advice or confirmation is required
-Understanding the feature-benefits of different products and generating technical arguments to win against competition via high-level technical presentations
-Participation in trainings conducted by our foreign partners in order to upgrade application know-how
-Train and support the Industry Segment Managers so that they can support their customers
-Keep up to date with latest technical specifications in Oil & Gas and Power Generation such as ASTM, ASME, API, EPRI etc.
-Review and comment on customer purchase specifications and request for modification when necessary and applicable
-Define SBG purchase specification based on supplier spec and customer spec.
Requirements
-Metallurgical Engineering Degree
-Minimum 5 years of experience in technical roles
-Additional Welding Engineering (IWE) degree is an advantage
-High level of understanding and application of all relevant standard codes such as ASME, ASTM, API, EPRI, AWS etc.
-High level of understanding of requirement for Pipe, Plate, Bars and Consumables used on Oil, Gas and Power generation applications
-High level of understanding of metallurgical requirement for various alloys and base materials as well as CRA clad material
-Skilled in making technical presentation and technical value propositioning against competitor products
-Good command of English
-Age 26-40
