Job Description

- Plan and develop trials and demos across several of the Companyâ€™s trial stations and fields. - Ensure trials and demos are executed properly and results are collected on time. - Assist with the development of the Companyâ€™s internal sampling database. - Prepare trial reports and monitor trial stations and fields. - Provide technical training to the Companyâ€™s technical staff (where required). - Report product performance in the market. - Manage a team of technical staff (office and field based). - Communicate with and report to management. - Attend meetings between management and suppliers (where required). - Initiate the introduction of new varieties and --.propose on price level in order to contribute to commercial success - Technical Expert with high experience in Yazd &Tehran (indoor & outdoor vegetables) - Arrange and screening R&D trials for new varieties, anywhere in Iran - Advice to growers for fertilizer & pesticide application for crop improvement - Make field day for pre-commercial varieties - Make marketing seminar for vegetable varieties - Evaluate seed market and follow up competitorsâ€™ activities - Plan and develop trials of the Companyâ€™s trial stations and fields. - Ensure trials are executed properly and results are collected on time. - Assist with the development of the Companyâ€™s internal sampling database. - Prepare trial reports and monitor trial stations and fields. - Report product performance in the market. - Communicate with and report to management. - Initiate the introduction of new varieties and propose on price level in order to contribute to commercial success.

Requirements

- Bachelorâ€™s degree in relevant field (e.g., agriculture, food security, nutrition, economics, international development, or related social sciences disciplines). - 2-3 years of progressively responsible experience in international development working on agriculture, food security, nutrition, gender, and womenâ€™s empowerment.. - Experience in the development of advocacy strategies, tools, training, and interventions. - Proven skills in developing and facilitating training. - Understanding of quantitative and qualitative M&E research methods. - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with minimal supervision. - Demonstrated ability to plan and organize work to deliver results and focus on impact and results. - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Fluency in English required. - Ability to travel 20-30% time.
