POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Tech Lead – IoT to own the technical architecture, system design, and engineering execution of connected device ecosystems spanning edge, cloud, and data platforms.

This role requires systems-level thinking across hardware and software boundaries, with the ability to design scalable device-to-cloud architectures, ensure reliability in real-world environments, and align IoT systems with product and business objectives.

This role supports a hybrid working model, designed to enable deep focus and high-quality execution while maintaining strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

• Design and own end-to-end IoT architectures across devices, edge layers, and cloud platforms
• Define communication protocols, data pipelines, and device management strategies
• Lead technical decisions across firmware, backend services, and integration layers
• Collaborate closely with hardware engineers, backend teams, and product leads
• Review and guide implementation across embedded systems and cloud infrastructure
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of connected systems
• Identify real-world operational risks and design resilient mitigation strategies
• Use AI-assisted tools to optimize diagnostics, performance monitoring, and system analysis

SKILLS

IoT & Systems Architecture
• Strong experience designing distributed IoT systems across edge and cloud
• Deep understanding of device-to-cloud communication patterns and data flows
• Experience with event-driven architectures and real-time data ingestion

Embedded & Integration Knowledge
• Familiarity with embedded systems and firmware-level constraints
• Understanding of hardware–software integration challenges
• Ability to design around connectivity limitations and device lifecycle constraints

Cloud & Platform Engineering
• Experience with scalable cloud infrastructure for IoT backends
• Knowledge of device management, telemetry systems, and monitoring
• Systems-level architectural judgment and long-term scalability thinking

Security & Reliability
• Understanding of IoT security principles (device authentication, encryption, secure provisioning)
• Experience designing resilient and fault-tolerant systems

Leadership & AI-Native Execution
• Ownership of technical direction across multiple engineering domains
• Ability to guide and align specialized teams (hardware, firmware, backend)
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate debugging, anomaly detection, and system optimization
