Job Description
Main responsibilities:
- Familiar with food industry, especially dairy sector.
- Direct and manage production, purchasing, warehousing, distribution, or financial forecasting services or activities to limit costs and improve accuracy, customer service, or safety
(Supply Chain Manager).
- Managing warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
- Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
- Confer with supply planners to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products.
- Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply activities.
- Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply factors, such as product cost or quality.
- Setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
- Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.
- Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
- Prepare necessary reports for the related departments (sales, marketing and supply chain, financial financial).
- Monitoring and controlling receiving and distribution of goods, return back of products, inventory.
- Proven excellence in leadership and process efficiencies.
- Understanding and commitment to Company quality goals and standards.
- Excellent planning and resource allocation skills.
