Job Description

● Supporting the HSE superintendent to conduct surveys or assessments to verify that industrial hygiene conditions of all project locations, potential social, community, and premises follow HSE requirements and associated standards. ● Participating in internal and external HSE audits according to company activities. ● Participating in execution of HSE Risk Identification and ensure implementation of controls about HSE risk exposure according with field activities requirements. ● Ensuring an effective emergency response plan implementation. ● Staying updated on corporate policies, procedures, laws, and industry practices regarding with HSE issues for implementation of control management for all activities. ● Promoting HSE awareness for staff promoting full implementation of controls and compliance with HSE legislation.

Requirements

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Safety and Occupational Health. ● 10 years of experience in HSE projects. ● Previous experience in HSE areas, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry. ● Previous supervising HSE activities and teams. ● Investigation and report writing skills. ● Knowledgeable in high-risk activities such as confined Space Entry, HOTWORX, Excavations, safe systems of work, etc. ● Analytical skills and the ability to think critically. ● Public speaking skills. ● Knowledge of legislation, international standards, and procedures. ● Proficient in all Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint). ● Contractor management skills.
