Job Description

We are currently looking for a senior systems engineer, to join our rapidly growing team. The senior systems engineer will be responsible for maintaining the existing production environment as well as assisting in building out their infrastructure to support the growth of the company. Primary responsibilities for a Linux engineer: ● Create, automate, provision, and deploy Linux-based operating systems/applications rapidly and at a very large scale. ● Ensure system stability, scalability, security, and performance. ● Create and maintain documentation surrounding our infrastructure. ● Think out of the box and solve complex scaling challenges.

Requirements

● More than three years of experience with Linux/Unix administration in large-scale server environments. ● Experience with scripting and system automation (Bash, and Python). ● Strong hands-on experience with monitoring tools: Zabbix (preferable), Prometheus, and Grafana. ● Virtualization experience, such as KVM, and Proxmox. ● Experience in Security Hardening in UNIX, and Linux. ● Certification (or Certificate of attendance) of LPIC-2, and LPIC-3. ● Strong hands-on experience with large-scale Asterisk servers. ● Strong hands-on experience with Mail, DNS, LDAP, and SSO services. ● General qualifications for a system engineer. ● Strong verbal and written communication skills. ● Good diagnostic expertise including problem investigation, root-cause analysis, and resolution skills. ● Performs other related duties as assigned.
