Job Description

As a Senior PHP Developer in Sam Media, you are responsible for the development of robust code that is designed to withstand the rigors of 24/7 high-traffic website and back-end systems that are distributed globally over a multitude of servers. You share this responsibility with a world class IT team and your colleagues are people you can respect and learn from. Our web development stack and tools include PHP 5.3 (LAMP), JQuery, Cassandra, Symfony 2, Phabricator, GIT, PHPUnit, and Behat to name but just a few and we manage our software development process the agile way using Scrum and Kanban. Development of robust code also requires continuous refactoring and this is why you will spend a significant amount of your time on refactoring activities.
