Senior Network Engineer

Job Description

  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and other IT systems.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement system upgrades and enhancements. Provide technical support to end-users and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Assist in the management of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in systems administration and IT infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are advantageous but not required for entry-level positions.
  • Knowledge of secuirty solutions like Next-Gen Firewall, Web Application Firewall, Endpoint protection, etc.
