Job Description
● Supervising the preparation of projects technical documents and research on positive displacement pumps and parts thereof, including pressure safety valves, gears, castings, etc. ● Overseeing required calculations, simulations, and analyses including FEA and CFD for flawless function of metering pumps and selection of suitable pump model/type for each application/process. ● Preparing and modifying engineering procedures and instructions. ● Overseeing engineering tasks in EPC projects in the Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical industries. ● Checking prepared technical proposals against clients’ material requisitions and ensuring proper material selection for both wetted and non-wetted parts considering the corrosion/erosion compatibility issues. ● Managing the submission of documents, also identifying and addressing key concerns that may alter or impact on-time project engineering delivery by tracking development milestones to meet set deadlines. ● Working closely with the workshop, QC, planning, and other departments to coordinate operations and activities within or among departments.
Requirements
● Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar relevant fields. ● Minimum 7 years of proven experience in engineering supervision or management. ● Expertise in mechanical calculations. ● Familiarity with oil and gas equipment. ● Ability to manage a team efficiently and effectively and develop a qualified and motivated team. ● Good command of English. ● Employment Type: Full Time.
