Senior Front-End Web Engineer (5+ years Exp) –only Female- Manifold Autos

We are building cloud software to ingest data from vehicles and turn it into usable analytics for risk management in large fleets and insurance companies. We deploy machine learning workloads analyzing the big data DBs and driving videos to produce meaningful scores for the risk posed by driving via dash cam video. You will be joining a team of highly qualified engineers and scientists to help shape the future of transportation. You will build an amazing product, impacting the safety of drivers on the road, all the while helping build a company from the ground up by influencing its culture.

We are a small (3-6 person) and growing team and see this position as a step towards becoming a foundational piece of a rocketing startup company. Our major competencies are:

AI-Cameras -- We have a background in building AI-camera devices that live in cars and produce the kind of risk data we intend to leverage.

Web Software -- we ingest data from thousands of video-telematics devices under 100s of API connections and flow that information to services such as Machine Learning pipelines, and index it for easy query by front end and API clients - details below.

A unified beautiful front-end dashboard that enables the most common uses of our data and analysis for customers, before they decide to integrate with our API for direct data access.

We'd like for you to come and grow to master our front end web software. This is the stack of software we currently run, you should be either proficient or eager to become proficient in it to qualify.

Mastery level of vue.js development and familiarity with Shadcn

Familiarity with C#, DotNetCore and Bash, Node.js,

knowledge of REST API web servers

Experience in building and deploying software to cloud providers such as Digital Ocean or Azure

Working with relational database design

Good knowledge of devops CI/CD pipelines

Strong working knowledge of Figma

In a candidate’s soft skills we would value:

In terms of experience, we estimate at least 5 years working with web products is needed.

Working Time: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Time (EST)

Job type: Full Time

Visa sponsorship: After 1 year of remote service, possibility of relocation assistance to Toronto, Canada, including visa sponsorship and travel expenses.

Compensation: As this is a role that can elastically grow or shrink to take on more or less of the larger project, compensation is highly dependent on candidate’s skill and experience, determined through the interview process. 1,500 - 3,500 CAD / month
