Senior Foreign Procurement Specialist

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

- Strategic Sourcing: Identify, assess, and validate reputable global manufacturers, including OEMs and leading machinery manufacturers, to procure advanced production lines and equipment.
- Technical Analysis & Compliance: Thoroughly review technical proposals submitted by manufacturers, assess their compliance with the company’s operational requirements, and prepare technical and commercial reports for management.
- Professional Negotiations:Conduct high-level negotiations with international manufacturers to reach agreements on technical specifications, pricing, production schedules, and payment terms.
- Procurement Operations Management: Oversee all stages of specialized machinery transportation, ensure compliance with packaging and transportation safety requirements, and manage international supply chain risks.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Engineering, Quality Control, and Production teams to ensure the proper installation and commissioning of equipment in accordance with applicable standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

-Specialized Expertise: Proven experience in strategic sourcing and international procurement of industrial machinery and production lines.
- Technical & Commercial Skills: Strong ability to conduct in-depth analysis and evaluate technical proposals against project requirements (Technical Bid Analysis).
- Comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment transportation standards and production line logistics requirements.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation capabilities to facilitate and secure international commercial agreements.
- Language Proficiency: Full professional proficiency in English, including business communication and correspondence; knowledge of technical and industrial terminology is mandatory.
- Personal Competencies: High attention to detail in document review, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage logistical and regulatory challenges effectively.
