Job Description
• Installing and Configuring Oracle Databases based on best practices • Monitoring, Maintaining and upgrading Oracle Databases • Managing Oracle Database Instances • Backup and Recovery of Oracle Databases • Troubleshooting Oracle Database incidents • Managing Oracle Database Users • Managing Oracle Database Performance • Managing High Availability of Oracle Database services • Preparing and customizing required reports • Documentation of activities with requested quality and quantity • Working Knowledge with High Volume of Data • Responsible for onsite, on-call support in case of issue or failure • Responsible for improving query performance and analyzing Query • Analyze business requirement and raw data to produce a structured relational and/or dimensional data model that resonates with user requirements • Prepare technical/functional requirements in forms of standardized templates that facilitate easy development
Requirements
• Demonstrate solid ability to understand, analyze and solve problem • BS or MS in Computer, IT or Electronics Engineering • 4+ years experience with Oracle Database Administration in mission critical environments • Deep knowledge of Oracle Database concepts, Backup and Recovery, High Availability, Performance Tuning, Database Security, etc. • Experienced in configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting of Oracle Dataguard and Oracle RAC on Solaris 10/11 • Experience in implementing Data Warehouse and B/I applications is a plus • The ability of Planning, Installation, Configuration, Maintenance and Troubleshooting Oracle Database • Familiar and talented in Oracle development tools • Basic knowledge about administrating Linux & Solaris OS • Good teamwork and communication skills • Shell scripting experience • Network and routing knowledge • For men military service status card is mandatory
