Job Description

  • Preparing financial models and cash flow forecasts for all projects or investments in the group, especially in terms of their economic feasibility and capital structure.
  • Financial modeling and stock valuation for investment opportunities in different stages of business life.
  • Analyzing financial statements and their strategic implications for our affiliate and sister companies.
  • Providing investment recommendations based on developed financial models, valuations, and risk assessment.
  • Enhancing decision insight through conducting equity research on publicly traded companies, based on CFA standards or a demonstrable view of financial analysis.
  • Maintaining constant coverage of economic and energy industry-related news and trends.
  • Contributing to the development of the M&A strategy, execution, and negotiations.
  • Preparing required models and financing documents for presenting to financial institutions, especially commercial banks, and investment banks.
  • Working with external consultants/investment bankers on signed engagements to ensure maximum value realization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or other related fields; preferably a Bachelor's degree in Engineering fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in capital markets, especially investment banking, financial advisory, investment companies, or holdings.
  • Thorough knowledge of corporate finance analysis and valuation is a must. Understanding accounting standards or related regulations such as the Iranian business act, tax, and social security law is a plus.
  • Provable report writing as well as presenting and social networking skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects with different teams.
  • Excellent technology skills with superior MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
  • Ability to explain and demonstrate financial expert advice to operation managers, in an intuitive systematic manner.
  • Good awareness of financing alternatives in money and capital markets, in order to suggest suitable solutions based on the project, ticket size, maturity, risk, and negotiation states.
  • Good skill in preparing investment pitch documents and presentations and ability to present in a negotiation setting or investor roadshow.
  • Good grasp of IPO readiness qualifications and ability to give recommendations in all aspects including financial reporting, operational performance, and governance.
  • Good knowledge of Iranian capital market regulations, especially in the process of listing stocks and fixed-income products.
