About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Architect for our client, a leading company specializing in cloud infrastructure and platform services.
In this role, you will define the architecture behind large-scale Kubernetes platforms, drive technical direction, and build cloud infrastructure designed for performance, resilience, and growth. You'll work across engineering teams to solve complex infrastructure challenges, establish platform standards, and influence the evolution of next-generation cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Architecture
• Lead the design and evolution of enterprise-scale Kubernetes platforms.
• Define architectural standards for scalable, resilient, and secure cloud services.
• Shape the long-term platform roadmap and technical direction.

Platform Engineering
• Design cloud-native infrastructure with a focus on automation, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Build highly available platform services and improve reliability across production environments.
• Drive capacity planning and platform performance optimization.

Technical Leadership
• Evaluate new technologies and guide architecture decisions through technical validation.
• Establish engineering best practices, documentation standards, and operational guidelines.
• Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing across the platform team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to deliver reliable platform capabilities.
• Translate business and product requirements into scalable infrastructure solutions.

What You Bring
• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Proven experience designing and operating large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and container technologies.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, networking, storage, observability, and platform security.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Strong Linux administration and production troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Proven skill in making architecture decisions and solving complex infrastructure challenges.

Nice to Have
• Experience building KaaS or PaaS offerings.
• Familiarity with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with multi-region or multi-data-center cloud platforms.
• Exposure to AI infrastructure, GPU workloads, or high-performance computing environments.
