Job Description
We are looking for a great Go developer who possesses a strong understanding of how best to leverage the language’s unique paradigms, idioms, and syntax. Your primary focus will be on developing Go packages and programs that are scalable and maintainable. You will ensure that these Go packages and programs are well documented and have reasonable test coverage. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential. Role description: ● Design, architect, and build performant, reliable, scalable, high-quality system services focused on user delight. ● Write scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code. ● Interact with architects and product managers and break down high-level specs into simpler, shippable tasks. ● Solve technical challenges of significant scope and high complexity. ● Working days: Saturday to Wednesday from 8:30 to 5:00; Two Thursdays in a month, from 9:00 to 3:00. ● Location: Arjantin Square. Requirements
● Strong knowledge of Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms. ● A focus on code quality. ● Proficiency in designing, building, and documenting APIs. ● Knowledge of common Goroutine and channel patterns. ● Experience with Go modules and Vendoring. ● Experience with Popular Go web frameworks and libraries, such as Gin, Echo, PGX. ● Experience with Git and Git Flow. ● Experience with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL. ● Familiar with messaging/streaming tools such as RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, Nats. ● Familiar with cloud-native architectures including an understanding of cloud-based application deployment patterns. ● Proficient in English as the product requires lots of studies and technical research.
