Job Description

ᴧ Job Specific Accountabilities:
• Define and lead the multi-category R&D strategy across BUs.
• Govern all new product development, technology development, and process improvement programs.
• Ensure alignment of R&D pipelines with BU strategies and SBC corporate priorities.
• Lead formulation governance, food safety compliance, and documentation standards.
• Oversee by-product valorization initiatives.
• Build R&D capabilities, allocate resources, and manage senior technical talent.
• Drive scientific partnerships, supplier technical collaboration, and technology scouting.
• Support Innovation and Project Engineering for seamless commercialization and scale-up.
• Lead Stage-Gate technical governance and ensure Gate readiness discipline.
Requirements:
ᴧ Education: Master’s/Bachelor’s in Food Science, Chemical Engineering and oil technology or related discipline.
ᴧ Language: Advanced Level
ᴧ Skills: MS Office, Minitab/Design Expert, process modeling tools, sensory systems. Food safety (HACCP, ISO 22000) a plus; PMP/Six Sigma optional, Formulation, scale-up, DOE/analytics, QA/QC governance, regulatory knowledge, IP awareness
ᴧ Experience: 15+ years experience in R&D leadership within multi-category FMCG/CPG. Deep technical expertise in oil chemistry, bakery science, thermal processing, and sensory science.
