POSITION SUMMARY The Regional Sales Manager’s responsibility is to own the business performance of the assigned region by delivering sustainable sales growth, strengthening distributor capability, driving execution excellence, and adapting commercial strategies to rapidly changing market conditions.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
• Deliver regional sales, both IMS & TPS targets • Develop and execute Regional Business Plan aligned with company priorities • Ensure best-in-class in-store execution and Perfect Store standards • Coordinate with Chanel Category Sales Development Managers (CDT) to ensure local promotions are consistent with Area/Category objectives and successfully implemented in the trade. • Optimize Route-to-Market and distributor territories to maximize coverage and productivity • Improve distributor capability, financial health and business sustainability • Drive commercial excellence using data and digital tools to check forecasting sales volumes for Area/Region (Part of Monthly Business Planning Cycle (MBPC) Process). • Build a high-performing field sales organization through coaching and capability development • Develop and manage long-term effective business relationship with distributors. • Goal alignment through effective MORs • Ensure collection and financial reconciliation is made in line with Nestlé set payment terms for his/her area/unit/channel. • Accountable and responsible for the development of sales team via regular on-the-job training and field appraisals. • Ensure strict adherence and compliance on all activities undertaken, including those taking place on trade, to the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk substitutes and Nestlé Instructions and local country codes. Ensure as well compliance with Nestlé’s strictest requirements that Nestlé marketing and sales personnel will not seek contact with, or give advice to pregnant women, or mothers of infants and young children regarding Infant Formula in their business capacity
