Job Description
Quality Control Engineer
Building Quality at the Source — Not Finding Defects at the End
Nahadin Arman, a knowledge-based technology company and the Middle East’s first manufacturer of mechanical seals and dry gas seals, is expanding its engineering and manufacturing team in the oil and gas industry.
We are not looking for someone who simply inspects finished products and completes quality-control forms.
We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer who understands the manufacturing process, identifies critical points, detects deviations before they become customer problems, and helps make quality an integral part of production.
Role Mission:
To ensure that products, components and manufacturing processes consistently meet technical requirements, drawings, specifications and defined quality standards.
Right Input → Controlled Process → Accurate Measurement → Deviation Detection → Corrective Action → Reliable Product
Key Responsibilities:
Process & Product Quality
Inspect components, products and manufacturing processes.
Identify critical and high-risk points within production processes.
Verify product conformity with engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Perform accurate dimensional inspections and record results.
Identify, document and report non-conformities.
Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify root causes.
Participate in corrective and preventive actions.
Support continuous improvement and prevention of recurring quality issues.
Measurement & Inspection
Operate precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers and related equipment.
Work with coordinate measurement and optical measurement systems.
Verify measurement accuracy and reliability.
Document inspection results.
Perform dimensional inspection according to technical drawings.
Reporting & Communication
Prepare periodic quality-control reports for management.
Prepare technical and quality reports required by customers.
Document inspection results and non-conformities.
Participate in technical and quality meetings.
Attend relevant training programs as required by management.
Who Are We Looking For?
Someone who is more than an Inspector — someone who thinks like a Quality Problem Solver.
You should be someone who:
Pays close attention to detail while understanding the bigger process.
Detects problems before they reach the customer.
Naturally asks, “Why did this happen?”
Does not simply report a defect, but works toward identifying its root cause.
Takes ownership of measurement accuracy and quality results.
Has strong discipline, organization and reliability.
Learns quickly and actively seeks technical development.
Communicates professionally with production, engineering and management.
Wants to grow from an operational quality role into a true quality specialist.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
Mechanical Engineering
Manufacturing Engineering
Materials & Metallurgical Engineering
Petroleum Engineering
Aerospace Engineering
Physics
Graduated preferably from a reputable university.
Minimum 3 years of relevant Quality Control experience.
Strong ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Familiarity with relevant engineering and office software.
Practical knowledge of precision measurement instruments.
Familiarity with coordinate measurement and optical measurement systems.
Ability to prepare technical reports and documentation.
High learning agility and strong professional growth mindset.
Strong discipline, accountability and compliance with organizational procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
Quality-control experience in oil, gas, petrochemical or industrial equipment industries.
Experience with precision components and rotating equipment.
Familiarity with industrial standards and quality requirements.
Experience in non-conformity analysis and corrective actions.
Experience with advanced inspection and measurement equipment.
What Success Looks Like:
Success in this role is not measured by the number of inspections performed or reports completed.
Success means:
Problems are detected earlier, root causes are understood better, corrective actions happen faster, and recurring defects are reduced.
The ultimate equation is:
Measurable Quality + Stable Process + Reliable Product + Customer Confidence
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive fixed salary based on experience and capability
Monthly performance bonus
Social Security insurance from the first day of employment
Professional, technology-driven work environment
Continuous learning and technical development opportunities
Career growth within an advanced oil and gas technology company
Location: Kilometer 17, Tehran Special Road
Priority: Candidates residing in Karaj and West Tehran
