QA/QC Inspector

Job Description

To provide assurance that the established quality management system is implemented and maintained according to the Wood Group, Customers and ISO standard. To verify that equipment, assembled, tested and repaired within the Test & Assembly facilities conforms to applicable specifications and agreed customer requirements. Collate and validate documentation is complete prior to release by third parties and or supplied to the customer. Perform inspection of repaired, purchased and sub-contracted parts involving but not restricted to activities such as, visual examination, review of material certification including NDT reports, Hydrostatic test reports, pressure test chart, Hardness test reports, and dynamic balancing and heat treatment report. Perform inspection, evaluation and compilation of technical reports relating to the condition and recommended method of repair to company and customer owned equipment returned for maintenance and repair. Prepare replacement part list as per inspection report. Maintain the completed and QC verified build documentation as evidence of product compliance. Conduct detailed inspections of the returned field equipment to determine the extent of rework and remanufacture. As necessary performs the following: Reversing of Engineering. Drafting and preparing of process drawings. Control dimensional acceptances and prepare Certificate of Compliance & Release Note.
