QA Software Tester

Job Description

You will be in charge of testing applications, including back-end and front-end solutions, as a part of the Scrum team. Your job will be to test new and existing services and APIs for company applications' upcoming releases.

General tasks:

  • Drive test planning sessions and make sure the test scope is clear, complete, and understood.
  • Give accurate estimates for test planning.
  • Create and review test cases.
  • Make sure that enough test coverage is provided and report on test status and metrics.
  • Find, record, and track bugs.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, QA practices, and processes.
  • Experience testing web, mobile, and client-server applications.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience working in all phases of software testing, from release to live.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to communicate with people at all organizational levels.
  • Good business and financial knowledge, particularly with regard to trading stocks, would be helpful.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in related fields. 
  • At least three years and above.
  • Creativity.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Punctual and responsible.
