Job Description
The objective of the role:
The product marketing manager is a member of the marketing department who owns the company products’ go-to-market strategy and is responsible for developing and implementing the strategy roadmap for the products. He/She communicates the value of company products to people outside of the organization, such as potential buyers, clients, etc. He/She works at the intersection of product development, marketing, and sales, and also is responsible for providing information required for product sales to advance the sales.
(Some of the equipment manufactured by this company are industrial closed-circuit cameras (CCTV), industrial beacons, industrial gas detectors, industrial acoustic hoods, explosion-proof telephones, and paging systems).
List of Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive product marketing plan.
- Implement programs that consistently generate new and high-quality leads.
- Develop and implement marketing activities and policies such as attending exhibitions, handling designing and printing catalogs, website, and social media management.
- Design seminars and marketing events.
- Arrange introductory/presentation sessions with customers.
- Survey the market, focusing on the Oil and Gas market, to find relevant potential opportunities/tenders and to analyze the findings.
- Interpret market research and apply relevant findings to the development process.
- Provide management with information and proposals concerning the promotion, design, and pricing of company products.
- Gather appropriate data regarding market leads to extract relevant opportunities.
- Identify target markets.
- Identify clients and customers and continuously follow up with customers to get requests for proposals (MR, RFP, Inquiry, etc.).
- Identify competitors.
- Identify relevant projects/tenders.
- Identify required certificates and grading based on defined marketing strategies.
- Track entering into customers’ Approved Vendor List (AVL).
- Manage customer relationships and customer satisfaction.
- Reporting to: Managing Director (CEO).
- Probation period: 3 Months.
- Working hours: Saturday to Tuesday from 8 AM to 5 PM; Wednesday from 8 AM to 4 PM.
- Travel requirements: Frequently travel within the country, in case of need.
