Key Responsibilities:
As a Product Manager for our service automation platform, you will be responsible for:
Product Roadmap: Developing and executing the product roadmap, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including customer support, and sales to ensure the successful delivery of product enhancements and features.
- End-to-End Ownership: Owning products and features from ideation to the realization of business impact, ensuring that our service automation platform remains efficient, effective, and competitive.
- Market Research: Conducting in-depth market research and analysis to identify opportunities and prioritize product features and functionality that align with our customers' needs.
- Backlog Management: Managing the product backlog, prioritizing features, and coordinating product releases to meet business objectives and demands.
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining comprehensive product documentation, including specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, to facilitate seamless development and alignment within the team.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Designing, monitoring, and analyzing product performance metrics, and using data-driven insights to inform product decisions and strategy.
- Technical Background: Utilizing your technical background (R&D/IT) and knowledge of enterprise software to drive innovation and ensure our platform's technical excellence.
- Platform Building: Applying your strong understanding of building platforms, focusing on core capabilities shared by multiple products, to enhance the scalability and versatility of our service automation offering.
- Agile Product Process: Leading an efficient Agile product process, collaborating seamlessly with stakeholders, marketing, and customer-facing teams to drive our product's success.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of enterprise platforms and service automation.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience in product management roles working on B2B applications with large customer bases.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information to senior management.
- Thrives in a high pressure, fast-paced environment and ambiguity.
- Ability to roll up sleeves and immerse in the details as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; an MBA graduate; or an advanced degree is a plus.
