Job Description

A procurement expert is responsible for purchasing process of materials and services, providing monthly purchase reports, managing suppliers, and the payment process. Main responsibilities: ● Receive PR and manage the related process (from A-Z) for a given set of items and services in line with needed specifications, cost, quality, payment terms, and delivery targets. ● Keep and develop vendor master files being updated by Monitoring market trends and market suppliers. ● Create and register new eligible suppliers on the system. ● Deliver briefs, updates, and reports as and when required (weekly, monthly, and annually). ● Interact with user divisions and other stakeholders, to understand their requirements and demands. ● Negotiate contracts, improved prices, and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods. ● Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies, and procedures during supplier negotiations and contract award process.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or other related fields. ● At least 2 years of relevant experience. ● Expertise in MS Office. ● Excellent communication and negotiation skills. ● Expertise in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management. ● Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. ● Team player with strong organizational skills. ● Fluent in English. ● Strong performance-driven mindset, self-responsibility, and self-management skills. ● Self-Motivated, fast learner, and result oriented.
