Job Description
- Review, comment and approve the documents and procedures of the process department in Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical projects.
- Prepare tender documents.
- Prepare and check process engineering activities such as simulations, PFDs, HMBs, and PIDs.
- Prepare sizing calculations for vessels, pumps, lines, etc.
- Prepare safety valve relief load calculation (as per API standard).
- Prepare design basis, philosophy, and control narrative.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, vendors, and clients.
- Work will range from conceptual studies to detailed engineering.
- Site visits may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, or a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, or Process Engineering.
- Some years of work experience in process engineering (as a designer and MC).
- Proficient in related national and international codes and standards.
- Proficient in related software such as HYSYS and/or other process simulation software.
- Experience with HAZOP, HAZID, and SIL Rating Studies.
