Job Description

● Accountable for end-to-end orchestration of merchandising, sampling, and POSM process for all Marina brands through leadership and coordination of all functions and stakeholders. ● Manage the relationship with various stakeholders (brand, finance, supply chain, Marcom) to integrate procurement category plans to business requirements. ● Supplier relationship management: Lead interactions with critical suppliers including relationship building, quality control, performance management, and reliability improvement. ● Develop an appropriate supplier’s portfolio considering business needs with regard to service to markets, regulatory & other constraints, innovation needs, contingency requirements, sustainability, and total cost of ownership. ● Oversee all activation, sampling, merchandising & POSM details to ensure that all experiences live up to our brands' standards and drive emotional connections with our consumers/customers. ● Develop planning and summary documents inclusive of the annual POSM, merchandising, sampling calendar, and quarterly activation/KPI recaps. ● Own the budget for Point of Sales Materials (POSM), merchandising, and sampling projects across the country. Deliver the elements of the customer marketing strategy in the allocated markets as well as identify new cost optimization opportunities. ● Lead the Merchandising team, consisting of over 20-30 merchandisers, to own and manage the strategic direction and processes that support our channel marketing strategies. ● Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across all channels, shopper behavior, market trends, and competitive insights to optimize short-term performance and inform longer-term strategies. Understand and share the connection between customer marketing and financial metrics. Provide weekly/monthly in-depth reporting and insights to partner teams. ● Key partner to channel managers to develop robust in-store programming to maintain our portfolio positioning in-store. Identify all key opportunities for upgrades with an eye on the competitive landscape. Act as the main support for channel managers by providing field-level activation of related campaigns, POS Setup, events, and other initiatives. ● Builds the bridge between the channel manager, sales, brand team, and procurement and gives clear guidelines on customer technical requirements for brand/channel teams when designing the POSM. ● Work closely with the sales team and channel managers to adjust planning based on retailer priority and timing. ● Develop/maintain a field-level market intelligence collection, particularly for sampling projects. ● Create/Improve operational processes (SOPs) around how we plan and activate POSM, merchandising, and sampling across all channels. Partner closely with Sales teams to support both ideation and execution of POSM and SAMPLING initiatives as well as merchandising routines that align with the overall strategies and KPIs.

Requirements

● More than 5 years of experience in the same position. ● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing or other related fields. ● Proficiency in core procurement skills. ● Negotiation and relationship management skills. ● BTL and in-store marketing knowledge. ● Project management and leadership experience in leading cross-functional/international projects. ● Financial and budgeting skills. ● Ability to influence and understand differing needs of stakeholders. ● Analytical skills to perform category analysis in support of sourcing strategy development.
