Position: Seed Import and Market Development Specialist
Kimiya Gohare Khak Co. is seeking a qualified candidate to join and further develop its Seed Department. The ideal candidate should have an academic background in agriculture, full command of English, and the ability to follow up international business affairs professionally.
The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying foreign suppliers, handling international correspondence and negotiations, reviewing seeds from both technical and commercial perspectives, obtaining product information and samples, coordinating with the sales and commercial teams, and contributing to the development of the company’s seed product portfolio and market growth.
Main Responsibilities
• Identify and evaluate foreign companies active in seed production and supply.
• Conduct professional correspondence and negotiations in English with foreign suppliers.
• Collect and review catalogs, prices, samples, technical specifications, and sales terms.
• Technically evaluate seeds in terms of variety, agronomic characteristics, quality, performance, and suitability for the Iranian market.
• Cooperate with the sales department to identify market needs and products with sales potential.
• Cooperate with the commercial team regarding foreign purchasing, proforma invoices, and import procedures.
• Follow up on sample receipt, technical evaluations, trial cultivation, and product assessment when required.
• Prepare regular reports for the CEO regarding suppliers, negotiations, proposed products, and market opportunities.
• Contribute to the development of the seed product portfolio and the growth of the Seed Department.
Qualifications
• Minimum Master’s degree in agriculture-related fields.
• Full command of English and international business correspondence.
• Familiarity with the seed and agriculture sectors, along with an understanding of foreign sourcing, international purchasing, and foreign trade processes.
• Ability to search, analyze, follow up, and prepare accurate reports.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Experience in seeds, agricultural inputs, or foreign trade is considered an advantage.
