Plant Technologist

Job Description

-Following safety, health, hygienic, environmental, quality and regulatory concerns within all projects and routine tasks to ensure fully alignment of activities with Bel group and national HSE, food safety and regulatory standards, policies and procedures.
-Leading innovation & renovation project starting from raw material, pack material, formula, process, final product and ended by consumer to ensure the qualification of final product based on Bel group standards (align with DAM and quality requirements) are met.
-Identifying & analyzing the issue or requests coming from gap analysis and stakeholders' requirements to follow resources based on experiences (history or group practices)
-Preparing productivity projects in all products life cycle to reduce cost of semi and final product with acceptable quality.
-Developing new suppliers and following homologation process align with internal and external stakeholders to establish supplier pool for possible next actions (including cost reduction, quality improvement, business continuity specially on raw material, etc.)
-Studying new size, actual speed and extended working time for fillers up to respect possibilities of process part.
-Facilitating production & purchasing team members for decision making about nonconform products and follow technical points with supplier to solve the problems.
-Following project align with quality and regulation to make sure FSSC requirements and all legal limitations are met.
-Reviewing control plans with support of quality and production teams to optimize cost and improve the efficiency of production lines.
-Supporting to develop new packaging materials/ packaging machines with technical team support to extend new products in the market.
-Supporting the study of new size & material for pack materials align with current equipment’s to extend the basket of products.
-Supporting team on co-packing projects to develop new products.
-Improving technologies used by suppliers, competitors, and customers align with group decision to determine and execute the projects of efficiency improvement.
-Developing new local suppliers in PM/RM and process areas to meet business continuity requirements.
