Job Description

  • Do the first step of releasing process for use in the production.
  • Control semi-finished and finished products.
  • Ensure food safety and conformity of all products delivered to market at the first step of release.
  • Follow up action plans, and participate proactively in different possible projects.
  • Control or monitor plant QA KPIs, lead time for semi-finished and finished products, FTR (first time right), and other defined KPIs (control base report).
  • Cooperate in providing needed reports for the quality department as well as other departments (based on needs).
  • Report to the supervisor any deviation and follow the case to solve the problem based on the needed request.
  • Make decisions in FS unsafe conditions and propose corrections and corrective action.
  • Report any deviation in quality of raw material, semi-finished product, and final product and FS unsafe condition.
  • Environmental monitoring and controlling temperature and pressure of the different areas.
  • Provide technical support and expertise in quality-related problem-solving.
  • Hold plant QA audits, analyzing and following up on the action plans.

Requirements

  • At least a Master's degree in Food Science.
  • At least 3 years of experience in related items.
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written.
  • Change management, project management, food safety fundamentals, quality methods and tools, and food quality management standards skills (HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO FSSC 22000, Halal Standard).
  • Fluent in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
