Planning Manager

Job Description

• Identify the organization's processes and determine its monitoring and measurement indicators.
• Suggest improvement solutions to the executive management for the effectiveness of the management system.
• Receive customer orders from the sales unit and maintain continuous communication with the sales manager to plan production and deliver the product to the customer.
• Plan production and raw materials and supervise their implementation.
• Determine the point of ordering raw materials and notifying the warehouse or purchasing unit.
• Monitor and cooperate in periodic warehouse operations.
• Review the status of achieving goals and plans related to the unit through the received reports.
• Identify risks and opportunities related to production and raw materials planning, and try to control them.
• Cooperate in compiling the BOM list of raw materials.
• Measuring the capacity of machinery and production lines.
• Review the current status of machinery placement and material flow, and cooperate in optimizing it.
• Follow up on corrective or preventive action to eliminate actual or potential non-conformities.
• Monitor and measure processes related to planning and production, and take action to improve.
• Communicate continuously with the production manager regarding the realization of the production plan.
• Communicate continuously with the warehouse and purchasing manager regarding the planning of raw materials.
• Review production reports and analyze the reasons for deviations from the production plan.
• Review raw material inventory reports and the amount of deviation from the inventory required to deliver the product to the customer on time.
• Coordinate with the maintenance and repair unit to include planned repairs in production planning.
• Monitor the inventory of raw materials and the entry and exit of goods from the warehouse.
• Identify the training program required by employees.
• Submit a report to the CEO regarding the realization of the production plan and the reasons for deviations from the plans.
• Analyze information and results of monitoring and measuring the planning process.
