Your Tasks as Operations Manager Include:
• Become the linking part for the company’s different levels – management, marketing, operation as well as operational stakeholders
• Plan, organize, direct and control the company’s effectiveness and performance
• Establish organizational structures, schedules and workflows to improve efficiency of operations
• Develop financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk and predicting future trends
• Work closely with other members of the board to identify current and future risks and opportunities
• Help formulating and implementing the company’s strategic and long-range goals
• Provide supervision of the staff – analyze training needs to design employee development hand in hand with other members of the board
• Help shaping the company’s future – research new laws and develop alternative methods of tourism and project management
Requirements
• Minimum Bachelor degree in business administration, tourism management, or related fields such as sociology, psychology, or any other related field fitting to the requirements.
• Proficient in English. German or other language skills is a plus
• Knowledge and experience in the field of incoming tourism and / or
• Knowledge and experience in operations/project management and / or
• Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices and / or
• Knowledge of human resource principles and practices, such as supervising, coaching and developing staff
